Please note, under Queensland’s electoral rules:

  • We cannot accept anonymous donations.

  • We are required to collect your name and address. This is only shared with the Electoral Commission of QLD (ECQ) for proof of donation compliance.

  • Donations from an individual that total $1000 or more in a financial year will be publicly disclosed on the Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) electronic disclosure system.

  • Donors must provide a return to the Electoral Commission of Queensland within 21 days of making the donation if their total donations in the relevant six month period exceeds $1000. The relevant 6 month period is Jan-June or July-Dec.

Individuals can claim a tax deduction for donations and contributions to political parties and candidates of up to $1,500 per year.
